Casapueblo was built by the Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró in Punta Del Este as his summer house and workshop. It is painted in white, and it is a perfect place to watch the sunset, listening to his poem as it is read. Nowadays it houses a museum, an art gallery, a hotel, and a cafeteria, which is always crowded during the sunset. The garden with its landscaping, looks like a fun maze with the arches.
