Picture shows the outdoor entrance hall and the ornated red and pink portico of the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. It is one of the five Chinese assembly hall of Hoi An and the most visited one. It is located in the Trần Phú street, in the heart of the medieval old town, classified as an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. The Phuc Kien assembly hall was built by Chinese merchants from Fujian in 1697 and was mainly used to worship their goddess Thien Hau. The temple has a typical Fujian architecture and an ancient chinese design construction.
