Aid Distribution And Rebuilding In Tigray

The numbers have increased due to the 7 month armed conflict and the recent destruction due to the locust infestation in 2020. G7 leaders recently called for unimpeded access for aid workers in the region where government forces and Eritrean troops have fought regional rebels starting last November. The UN says 350,000 people here are living in famine conditions, a characterization the Ethiopian government disputes, although they have admitted to "food insecurity" in Tigray.
