Belgium Faces Major Disruption During National Strike

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - NOVEMBER 26: A belt with the Brussels airport symbol blocks access to the check-in desks during a national strike against the government's reform plans at Brussels airport on November 26, 2025 in Brussels, Belgium. The three-day general strike over reforms to labour laws, pensions, and unemployment benefits that began on Monday has led to widespread disruption across Belgium's transport, health, and education sectors, despite the coalition government under Prime Minister Bart De Wever agreeing on a budget deal on Monday.
