WASHINGTON, DC - May 14: A "Geese Police" border collie chases away a Canada Goose from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., May 14, 2015. The dog was hired by The National Park Service who will utilize border collies to relocate geese from parts of the National Mall, including the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, until next February. "Geese Police" has trained border collies for decades because the wolf-like glance of the dog frightens the geese. Excessive droppings from the Mall's large and growing Canada goose population damage the pumps and filters of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
