Haiti pill distribution
JACMEL, HAITI - MAY 24: Haitian boys at the L'Ecole Les Freres Clement private elementary school in Jacmel line up to take pills to combat intestinal worms and the virus that causes lymphatic filariasis during a mass drug administration sponsored by the Haitian public health ministry (MSPP Ministere Sante Publique et Population). The pills are given by volunteers and the boys ask questions and cut up in line as they wait for water. The drive to combat these lingering illnesses in the population are done twice yearly for kids and at different periods of the year. The boys are given the pills and made to show they chewed them up and swallowed them, and then given water to wash the pills down. (Photo by Maggie Steber for The Washington Post via Getty Images)
