Jack Kramer Getting Back on His Feet

(Original Caption) Jack Kramer, who retired undefeated as Wimbledon, Forest Hills and world champion and went onto godfather just about everything in contemporary amateur and professional tennis says he's about ready to get back on his horse again but the evidence indicates he has already mounted and digging in his spurs. His immediate cause is the 52nd annual edition of the Pacific Southwest Tennis Championships, now a world circuit event sponsored by Arco and offering $200,000 in prize money. The big names on the tennis circuit will be swingling their racquets at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion 9/8/25.
