Thousands Of Migrants Remain Stranded In Greece As Borders Stay Closed

Thousands of migrants remain stranded at the border camp following high hopes that yesterday's EU summit would have brought them some sort of resolution. The decision by Macedonia to close its border to migrants last week followed the lead taken by neighbouring countries, effectively sealed the so-called western Balkan route, the main migration route that has been used by hundreds of thousands of migrants to reach countries in western Europe such as Germany.
