Hummer To Offer Semi-Rugged Laptop Computers

Hummer, a unit of General Motors Corporation, has partnered with rugged mobile-computing manufacture Itronix to bring the toughest semi-rugged notebook computer to market under the Hummer brand. The laptop is designed to meet a tough military standard (MIL-STD 810F) for vibration, temperature extremes, humidity, and provide excellent resistance to drops and spills. The Hummer laptop is a consumer variation of the new commercial Itronix GoBook VR-1 and will be available in three colors and sold through Hummer dealerships or online.
