Antenna Performance Evaluation

A one-eleventh scale model of a Boeing 737 aircraft is shown during antenna performance measurement in NASA Langley Research Center's Low Frequency Antenna Test Facility. The state-of-the-art test facility is used to provide a simulated free space environment for evaluating antennas over the 0.100 to 40 GHz frequency range. The radio frequency performance of the scale model top fuselage mounted antenna was measured at 11.55 GHz.
