Drive-In Performance Of "SEXXY: The Show" Held As COVID-19 Pandemic Continues

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - JULY 01: Cast member Agnes Roux dances during a performance of "SEXXY: The Show" at the Dreamland Drive-In Theater and Concert Venue at Fresh Wata Studios to benefit Pawtastic Friends, Golden Rainbow and The Actors Fund amid the spread of the coronavirus on July 1, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jennifer Romas, who produces, directs and stars in the show, said the cast and crew quarantined for 14 days in order to do the show away from its usual venue at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, which reopened last month. The Westgate Cabaret, home to the topless revue since 2015, is not allowed to open under Phase 2 of Nevada's reopening plan. On Monday, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak signed an emergency directive extending Phase 2 through the end of July due to an upward trend of COVID-19 infections. Since the pandemic caused Nevada resorts to close their live entertainment venues in mid-March, Las Vegas entertainers have taken their acts online or to drive-in sites to entertain people while complying with the state's phased reopening restrictions.
