JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA - DECEMBER 7: (INTERVIEW) Director Baloji talks about why, as someone who was already a musician and DJ, he wanted to become a film director, that he's been trying to make films for twelve years but the gatekeepers didn't allow him to have a chance, Film Commissions were difficult and rejected his project, so he had three going but never had a breakthrough till he made a self-funded short about zombies, perceptions then changed, he made 'Omen' for 1.2 million Euros, a small budget, but he's done his best to represent Congolese and African culture in a different way rather than something contemplative and slow-paced, at 'Omen' Interviews, at the Red Sea International Film Festival 2023 on December 7, 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
