Anthony Fauci remote statement to coronavirus reopening hearing

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci tells the Senate HELP Committee by videoconference that there were many candidates and hope to have multiple winners in coronavirus vaccine development, multiple shots on goal which was good for Global availability if there were just one successful candidate, also producing a vast vaccine at risk which meant investigating considerable resources in developing doses before a given candidate was known to work but to warn the possibility of negative consequences with certain vaccines that could enhance the negative effect of infection, the big unknown efficacy and durability.
