Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says in a floor speech the morning after the House adopted impeachment articles against President Donald Trump that estimate gets tried to cover for their own partisan impatience by pretending that the routine occurrence of a president exerting constitutional privilege was itself a second impeachable offense, quoting House Select Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff that any action that forces the House the litigate or consider litigation would be considered further evidence of obstruction of justice.
