Close-up of Moon Jellyfish in Aquarium, Their name derives from the white and round body moon shape. Moon jellyfish are very transparent so when the light is shining on them they look just like the moon . A distinguish feature of the moon jellyfish is four horseshoe-shaped gonads at the top of the bell. The female brood fertilized eggs before release of the larvae into the water column.
