Hirizohama beach, Nakagi port, Minami-Izu, Izu Peninsula, Shizuoka pref, Japan. - May 31, 2025.Hirizohama is one of the best snorkeling spots in the Japanese main island of Honshu.It is a secret beach open only for three months in summer.It is visited by many tourists every year.Because of its location between a cliff and the ocean, it is inaccessible from land.To access it, visitors must take a fishing boat ferry from the harbor.Because of this, the water quality is good and the biota is richly protected.I have been commissioned by the local tourism association to do underwater photography, landscape photography, and drone survey & aerial photography.
