Denhma was one of Britain's most sought-after and versatile actors for well over half a century.Although often cast as an official or military officer, he played clowns, detectives, clergymen, spivs, aristocrats and tramps in 100 films and a myriad of television and radio performances. From Macbeth to the voices in the cartoon version of George Orwell's Animal Farm, he was in constant demand.
