HIZMA, -: Palestinians wave flags from the militant group Hamas during the funeral of Thabet Ayadi, 24, which began in the West bank town of Tulkarem and continued to Hizma, 10 kilometers from Jerusalem, 17 January 2006. Ayadi, described as an engineer by the militant group Hamas, was killed in a shoot-out with Israeli forces early this morning in Tulkarem, Palestinian and Israeli security sources said, the first member of the main Islamist faction to be killed since a de-facto Palestinian truce expired last month.
