Álex de la Iglesia assures that sharing a profession with Carolina Bang makes their marriage more bearable: "I honestly believe that dedicating ourselves to the same thing and having the same things on a day-to-day basis and understanding each other solves many problems. We are involved in so many messes that our relationship in the end is much more bearable". Apart from the personal success in his marriage, he is happy with how his professional career has evolved: "Let's see, I've been doing this for forty years, so I certainly have a certain vision, I don't know if my vision is good or bad, but I do have some".
