Patients with sleep disorders receive treatment on World Sleep Day in Czechia

OSTRAVA, CZECH REPUBLIC - MARCH 16: Anadolu video captured patients suffering from sleep disorders at the Sleep Laboratory of the University Hospital Ostrava on World Sleep Day, Thursday (March 16).Health staff at the Centre for Sleep and Wakefulness Disorders of the university treat patients with sleeping disorders from variety of age groups.One of the patients, five-year-old Damian Srajdr, who is autistic, came with his mother Lenka Srajdrova to the hospital for an examination due to poor sleep.He wakes up during the night and due to this he is tired during the day.The examination is to find out at which stage of sleep the waking occurs to determine the next course of treatment.Another patient 72-year-old Ladislav Cubik from Lichnov was also examined in the center due to poor breathing at night because of a non-functioning nasal septum.(Footage by Lukas Kabon/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
