ITV Special Programme: 'George Harrison: Death of a Beatle'; ENGLAND:INTSir George Martin (Record producer) reading and interview SOT- It's been an awful shock today because I mean we've known it's been coming for a long while but it still doesn't prepare you the day when it actually happens / George is a wonderful man and a fine musician but most importantly I think he was a very loving person, full of humour and I don't think he really wanted to be a famous person, I think he wanted to do his own stuff by himselfEXTJimmy Tarbuck (Comedian) interview SOT- It's sad, it's a sad day, but I hope people remember his tunes along with his membership of the greatest band that's ever been - I mean they have to be classed as that and they were, but he was a fine, fine talent on his own, you know, damn good musician, nice fellow and I send my sympathy to his wife and family / he's died too youngINTGerry Marsden (Musician) interview SOT - George would help you out, I'll miss him.
