Palestinian children detained in Israeli prisons return to families during humanitarian pause

JERUSALEM - NOVEMBER 26, 2023: Within the terms of the agreement reached between Hamas and Israel, 39 Palestinian children detained in Israeli prisons were released on Sunday (November 26). Families and released prisoners shared emotional moments during the reunion of loved ones. A four-day humanitarian pause, mediated by Qatar, went into effect on Friday, temporarily halting Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip. In the first two days of the humanitarian pause, Israel and Hamas exchanged 41 Israelis and foreigners for 78 Palestinians in Israeli jails.
